Physical Therapy

Carol

We are unique in the fact that we are the only clinic in Canton with a licensed Physical Therapist on staff!  Carol has been with us for over 9 years now and she is the best!
Dr. Vargo is also the only Chiropractor board certified in rehabilitation.  Exercise is an important part of every patient’s treatment program.  Studies show that when you combine exercise with traditional Chiropractic manipulation you get faster longer lasting results.  We will decide exactly what exercises your body needs and teach you how to do them.  Our goal is to release you on an unsupervised home exercise plan when you have learned to do the exercises properly and you are in no need of assistance.  Exercises will be given to strengthen weak muscles, stretch tight muscles, and improve proprioception, balance, and control.

A big advantage of our Physical Therapy department is we only have one PT, Carol.   Our clinic is small enough that you get individualized attention.  At other clinics you may feel lost in the overall size and not experience one on one care as you feel you should. This is a common complaint we hear about other bigger clinics. Having the doctor and Physical Therapist together under one roof also makes for better care.  As the saying goes two heads are better than one.  Patients care and outcomes are discussed regularly which is very beneficial especially for the more complicated conditions that may not respond as quickly as desired.  Our Physical Therapy department also treats many patients sent to us by their family doctor or other specialist.  If you are looking for quality Physical Therapy, give us a try.  You won’t be disappointed!
